Digital Goa, Mar 24- CM Pramod Sawant today told the house that the Railway Station proposed at Neura will only be used for crossing purpose. He was reacting to a LAQ put forth by St Andre MLA Viresh Borkar in the State Legislative Assembly. He also informed that the house that he will urge the Center to make more fast trains stop at the Carambolim Railway station for the convenience of locals and tourists coming to Panaji. Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho asserted that the 3 railway stations were already sanctioned in 1998 and were required for operational reasons. Due to saturated line capacity and long blocks, railways took the decision to split the block section, he added.
