Digital Goa, June 5 – The new Captain of Ports Terminal Building at Panaji will be inaugurated on June 8 by Union Minister for Port Sarbananda Sonowal. Constructed by GSIDC, the riverfront facility has been developed as a modern G+3 administrative building with a distinctive ship-shaped design. Built at a cost of ₹48.87 crore, the project has a total built-up area of 4,405 sq m. The terminal is expected to strengthen monitoring and navigation control operations of the Captain of Ports Department.
