Digital Goa, October 30 – The State Government has notified the Mukhyamantri Swayam Rojgar Yojana (MSRY) to build a pool of trained faculty mentors who can guide youth through structured mentoring and capacity-building support. The scheme aims to nurture entrepreneurship and strengthen the start-up ecosystem. Designed as a five-year initiative from 2025-26 to 2030-31, MSRY adopts an integrated education-to-enterprise model by also introducing entrepreneurship through colleges. The Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce will serve as the nodal agency, the EDC as the implementing agency, and the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) as the training partner. Key departments involved include Education, Higher Education, Technical Education, and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.
