Night patrolling to be beefed up to stop loud music after 10 pm in coastal belt: CM

Oct 16- Police strength in the tourist belt of North Goa will be beefed up to prevent crimes and late night sound pollution. No loud music will be allowed after 10 pm, said CM Pramod Sawant. Goa Police will commence night patrolling in the coastal belt in view of the recent crimes reported in North Goa tourist belt. Forty percent staff strength will be deployed in the coastal belt police stations at night time, he said. A meeting of home dept was held in view of the recent criminal activities in coastal belt and strict action was initiated against the perpetrators, he added.
