Digital Goa, Oct 8 – Nine women were rescued from two massage parlours near Colva beach in a joint operation conducted yesterday night by the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) South Goa, Colva Police, and NGO ARZ. The two parlours, located within Colva Police jurisdiction, were reportedly offering illegal services in addition to massages. Two persons running the parlours have been arrested in connection with the case, informed the SP, South Goa Tikam Singh Verma. The operation was carried out under the direct supervision of the SP as part of ongoing efforts to curb human trafficking and exploitation in the region.
