Aug 12 – Two institutes from Goa featured in the top 100 list of best educational institutes in the country in their respective category in the Union Eduction Ministry’s ranking conducted by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). Goa Institute of Management(GIM) is ranked at 37 with an overall score of 55.67 points among top 100 Management Institutes in the country. However, GIM slipped from its 33rd position in 2023 to 37th position this year. With an overall score of 40.69 Goa College of Pharmacy is ranked 93rd among Pharmacy colleges.
▪️ However, no educational institution in Goa featured in top 200 best educational institutes in the country.
▪️ Goa University did not receive a specific rank but found place in the rank band of 151 to 200 among Universities in India. In 2023, GU had better ranking and was featured in 101 to 150 band. Among the State Public Universities Goa University was put in the 51-100 band but with no specific ranking.
▪️ In Top Colleges in India ranking, two colleges in Goa featured in the 151-200 rank band – Dempo Charities Trust Dhempe College of Arts & Science and Ponda Education Society Shri Ravi S. Naik College of Arts and Science.
▪️ Four colleges in Goa featured in the 201 to 300 band- Govt. College of Arts Science & Commerce Sanquelim, Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts & Science (Autonomous) , St. Xaviers College of Arts Science & Commerce Mapusa and Vidya Prabodhini College of Commerce, Education, Computer and Management, Vidyanagar
