Aug 23- There is no solution in sight to the ongoing taxi operators’ agitation that is brewing in Pernem for last few days. Attempt to find solution to the vexed issue failed as no meeting could take place between agitating taxi operators and CM Pramod Sawant today. A delegation of 25 taxi operators came to official residence of CM Pramod Sawant at Altinho. However, taxi operators left the scene saying CM has asked only 10 members to meet him. “Earlier we were told 25 members will be allowed and now they are calling only 10. This is injustice to us. We don’t want to talk to CM,”, a taxi operators said. There was huge police force deployed around the CM’s official residence in view of this meeting. Earlier, CM Pramod Sawant has charged that the ongoing taxi operators agitation is politically motivated.
