Digital Goa, Jan 5- Occupancy certificates will not be issued to large residential construction projects if they do not have facilities such as Advanced Paramedics and automated external defibrillator(AED) deployed on their campus. A notification to this effect will be issued by the Health as well as TCP Dept, informed Minsiter Vishwajeet Rane. Govt is also mulling to change the criteria to give occupancy to housing projects, he added
The Health Department of Goa along with the Ministry of Health is working to train all citizen, more particularly students above 16 years of age, Self Help Groups etc on how to perform CPR. With more people being aware of this life-saving skill, the response time in cases of emergency can be decreased significantly, said Rane.
