Digital Goa, Dec 8 – There will be no power supply on Sunday, Dec 17 from 7 am to 3 pm in entire South-Goa, except major part of Ponda Taluka and areas of Raia, Curtorim, Loutolim and Macazana, stated a public notice issued by the Electricity Dept. The shutdown is scheduled for maintenance of 220KV and 110 KV EHV (Extra High Voltage) interstate and intrastate lines and EHV substation at Xeldem, Cuncolim and Verna. Areas affected will be entire talukas of Canacona, Salcete (except Raia, Curtorim, Loutolim and Macazana), Sanguem, Quepem, Mormugao and part of Dharbandora taluka i.e. V.P. Kirlapal-Dabal, Shigao-Collem, Mollem and Part of Ponda taluka i.e. V.P. Panchwadi and all Industrial Estates of South Goa and Salaulim water works at Xelpem, states the public notice.
