Digital Goa, Aug 27 – North Goa Police have prohibited rallies, morchas, dharnas and processions within 500 metres of the Goa Legislative Assembly complex at Porvorim during the upcoming session. The restrictions will remain in force from August 31 until the session concludes. Assemblies, processions, demonstrations and public meetings elsewhere in Porvorim and Panaji police jurisdictions will require prior permission. However, no procession, morcha, rally or dharna will be permitted within 500 metres of the Assembly complex at Porvorim and in areas under Panaji Police Station covered by prohibitory orders under Section 163 of BNSS.
