Digital Goa, May 8 – North Goa Court has granted bail to alleged land grab mastermind Siddique alias Suleman Khan in a case involving alleged forgery of sale deeds linked to over 216,000 square metres of ancestral land in Goalim-Moula, Tiswadi. The bail was granted after observing that the CFSL report did not conclusively link Siddique’s handwriting or signatures to the disputed documents. The court also noted lack of direct evidence showing he personally forged the deeds. Siddique was arrested in November 2024.Despite his release in this case, Siddique’s freedom depends on whether he is required for other pending matters, including a prior jailbreak case where he allegedly escaped custody on a constable’s motorcycle.
