Digital Goa, September 2 – North Goa Police handed over 50 recovered stolen and lost mobile phones worth around Rs 15 lakh to their rightful owners today. The recovery, done through the CEIR portal and police tracking, included 33 phones from Calangute PS, 14 from Panaji PS, and 3 from Anjuna Police Station. The CEIR system, operational nationwide since May 2023, blocks IMEIs of lost phones to aid recovery, informed police.
