Digital Goa, July 7- Goa govt has issued notification permitting water sports from June to September 15 as part of its effort to boost monsoon tourism. The draft notification in this regards was issued on June 30 and govt had given public 5 days to submit their suggestions and objections. As no suggestions and objections were received from the public, govt has issued the final notification in this regards today. The water sports will be restricted to inland waters and fair weather days only. The areas identified for monsoon water sports are River Sal, River Chapora, River Zuari and Dona Paula bay, River Mandovi (at Diwar Island away from main Navigable Channel), Nerul River and Sinquerim River.
