Offence registered against two for mishandling Indian python

Nov 5- The North Goa Forest Division of the Goa Forest Department has initiated a preliminary offense report (POR) after a video surfaced on social media showing two men capturing and mishandling an Indian python (Python molurus) at Caranzalem, Panaji. The report was filed following a complaint from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India. Indian python is listed under Schedule I of the Wildlife (Protection) Act (WPA), making it a protected species.
