Digital Goa, July 20 – Opposition has alleged crores of rupees worth scam in Sports dept in the name of National Games. Vijay Sardessai and Carlos Alvares Ferreira said that the infrastructure works which are already done recently are taken up again in the name of National Games. Rs 12.17 crores were spent on Campal swimming pool which was inaugurated last year. Now, Rs 35 lakhs are being spent on membrane at this swimming pool. Also Rs 1.5 cr worth urgent repairs of this swimming pool is taken up. Similar exorbitant expenditures are made on Peddem and Bambolim grounds, alleged Vijay.
