Nov 19 – All Opposition MLAs have written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting him to order an inquiry by a retired High Court judge in the cash for job scam that rocked the state since last fortnight. Signed by all opposition MLAs, who met in Fotorda today, letter said that the truth needs to be unravelled of all the players from the highest to the lowest and not just those caught as the agents. Corruption has reached astronomical heights in Goa, said the letter and added that they have no faith in the Goa Police “who is acting as a caged parrot of the ruling government”.
