Digital Goa, July 31 – Opposition members, led by LoP Yuri Alemao, exposed the poor health infrastructure and the difficulties faced by common people in accessing healthcare in the state. Speaking during the discussion on health demands in the Goa Legislative Assembly today, several opposition and even ruling MLAs highlighted various deficiencies in the health sector. Most speakers pointed to inadequate healthcare facilities in rural areas. MLAs Viresh Borkar and Venzy Viegas were particularly critical of the functioning of the Health Department.
