Digital Goa, Nov 17 – The Goa government has brought into force the Goa Municipalities (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025, introducing an important clarification to municipal construction permissions. Under the amendment to Section 184 of the Goa Municipalities Act, 1968, any building reflected in the record of rights and in the first promulgated survey plan prepared under the Goa Land Revenue Code, 1968, will now be treated as having been constructed with due permission of the Chief Officer.
