Orthopaedic surgeon from Hyderabad held for cheating Panaji jeweller of Rs 1.41 lakh

Digital Goa, August 12 – Panaji Police arrested Mirza Sheraz Alibaigh (38), an orthopaedic surgeon from Hyderabad, for cheating a city jeweller by showing a fake RTGS payment screenshot and taking gold ornaments worth ₹1.41 lakh. He was nabbed from Candolim. During investigation police found that the accused, was wanted in nine similar cases across states. Stolen jewellery was also recovered from him.
