Digital Goa, February, 3 – With the support of AstraZeneca and Qure.AI, over one lakh chest X-rays have been screened across Goa using artificial intelligence, enabling the identification of thousands of critical lung nodules and reducing diagnosis time by more than 50 per cent, informed Health Minister Vishwajeet Rane. Goa is among the first states in the country to scale AI-enabled lung cancer detection across PHCs and CHCs. Govt aims to expand the initiative to over two lakh screenings, said Rane.
