Digital Goa, October 31 – Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place for the 116th Dindi Mahotsav at Shree Harimandir Devasthan, Margao. Over 110 police personnel will be deployed during the festival, informed South Goa SP Tikam Singh Verma. This will be in addition to the deployment of traffic police to ensure smooth movement during the festivities. The week-long festival, which runs from October 30 to November 4, will witness its main event on November 3. The festival has been accorded State-level status by the govt.
