The Directorate of Education has announced financial assistance of ₹1,100 per student for around 8,200 students studying in government primary schools to support the purchase of school uniforms and raincoats ahead of the monsoon. As per the circular, students of Standards I and III will receive ₹500 towards the purchase of a raincoat and ₹600 for school uniforms. The Directorate has directed all ADEIs and heads of government primary schools to complete verification and disbursement of funds on or before July 15, 2026.
