Digital Goa, July 2 – North District Police and the Crime Branch have registered 54 NDPS cases in the last six months, seizing narcotics worth Rs 58.34 crore. A total of 69 accused, including 22 Goans, 38 non-Goans, and 9 foreigners, have been booked. Drugs seized include 45 kg Ganja, 4.3 kg Cocaine, 3 kg Charas, 1.1 kg Ecstasy, 206 g MDMA, and other psychotropic substances like LSD, heroin, and methamphetamine. Anjuna Police Station and the Crime Branch recorded the highest number of cases, with major seizures of Ganja, Cocaine, and MDMA. Anjuna Police alone booked 11 cases, while the Crime Branch registered 12.
