Digital Goa, July 30 – All Goa Panchayat Workers Union, under the banner of AITUC, staged a protest at Azad Maidan, Panaji, pressing for the fulfilment of three key demands — implementation of 7th Pay Commission benefits, establishment of a recruitment committee to streamline staffing in panchayats, and regularisation of temporary workers. The union has warned of a state-wide strike after Ganesh Chaturthi if the government fails to address their demands promptly.
