Digital Goa, Aug 21- High Court today postponed the hearing on the bail plea of Paresh Sinai Savordekar, the accused driver in the Banastari horrific accident case to Thursday, Aug 24. Crime Branch had sought postponement of the hearing stating that statements of Paresh’s wife Meghna and 2 others need to be recorded. Meghna’s statement will be recorded before the magistrate today while statement of 2 others will be recorded on Wednesday. Three persons had died while 3 others were seriously injured in the accident that took place on August 6 due to rash, negligent and drunken driving. Paresh is presently housed at Colvale jail and is on 14 days judicial custody.
