Part of old house on MG road collapses; traffic diverted

July 24 – Part of old house opposite Woodland showroom has collapsed on MG Road Panaji and one of its wall is likely to collapse on the road. In view of public safety, stretch of MG road from Woodland showroom to chapel is closed for Traffic. The traffic has been diverted at Woodland to proceed via Albuquerque Road, informed SP Traffic. Meanwhile, as a tree was about to fall near Gauri Petrol Pump, Porvorim traffic from Panaji to Porvorim has been diverted through service road. Porvorim Traffic Cell staff and Fire & Emergency services are on site to address it, said SP.
