Digital Goa, May 25- The number of Police Control Room (PCR) calls in Goa dropped from 12,302 between January and April 2024 to 10,816 during the same period in 2025, marking a 12.08% reduction year-over-year, according to statistics released by the government. The data also revealed declines in various crime categories. Crimes against women fell by 21.5%, snatching incidents dropped by 50%, theft cases were down by 16.1%, fight and assault cases decreased by 11.4%, accidents declined by 9.9%, and traffic-related calls reduced by 11.9%.
