Digital Goa, Feb 2 – An unidentified pedestrian was killed after being hit by a car near the Inox Theatre junction in Panaji on February 1 at around 9 pm. According to the complaint, the incident occurred at around 2.48 pm when the accused, Mardan Ali (28), a resident of Davangere, Karnataka was driving his car from Campal towards Panaji. When the vehicle reached the pedestrian crossing near Inox Theatre, it reportedly hit the unidentified pedestrian who was crossing the road from Mahaveer Garden towards the market side.The pedestrian later succumbed to the injuries sustained in the accident. Ali was arrested and released shortly thereafter
