Digital Goa, Sept 14 – A 43-year-old woman, Monica Silva from St. Jose de Areal, succumbed to injuries after being hit by a motorcycle while crossing the road near Bagwati Tiles Factory, Mugali, Curtorim on Sept 10. Police said the motorcycle, ridden by Sunil Talwar of Maina Curtorim, allegedly knocked her down. Silva sustained a severe head injury and later died while undergoing treatment at GMC Bambolim. Talwar was arrested on Sept 13 and subsequently released on bail.
