Digital Goa, Jan 2 – Taxi Operators from Pernem have commenced their protest at Nagzar, Pernem demanding that they be assigned a separate yellow black taxi counter at Manohar International Airport at Mopa. They do not want the counter to be within the ambit of Goa Taxi cab aggregator app of Goa govt. Local BJP MLA Pravin Arlekar has also backed the protestors and assured them of resolving the issue by today. “Earlier we were told that app was separate and yellow black taxi’s were separate. We want it that way,” said Arlekar. Taxi operator leaders along with Arlekar are scheduled to meet CM Sawant to put forth their demands in this regards.
