Digital Goa, July 28 – Goa government has acquired 1 lakh square metres of land in Margao to develop a state-of-the-art school complex, similar to the Cujira school complex in North Goa. CM Pramod Sawant informed the House that plot allotment to eligible educational institutions from Margao will begin within three months time.The proposed educational hub aims to decongest city schools and offer modern infrastructure and shared facilities for multiple institutions in South Goa. While schools will be required to construct their own buildings, the government will develop the common infrastructure, the House was told.
