Digital Goa, July 16 – Goa govt has decided to continue the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) across the state for the 2026-27 Kharif and Rabi seasons. The crop insurance scheme will be implemented at the Village Panchayat cluster level through Bajaj General Insurance Ltd. in North Goa and the Agriculture Insurance Company of India Ltd. (AIC) in South Goa. The notification also states that pulse crops have been de-notified for the Kharif season across Goa as no area has been brought under cultivation. In North Goa, sugarcane and groundnut have also been de-notified for the Kharif season due to the limited area under cultivation.
