Digital Goa, Feb 15 – Special POCSO Court has ordered framing of rape charges against Gujarat Businessman in the 2022 model rape case disregarding his allegations of ‘sextortion’ . The accused Anant Tanna had alleged that he was honey trapped. Anti Human Trafficking Unit(AHTU) had first chargesheeted Tanna for raping the girl from Kutch who is a model by profession after bringing her to Goa on pretext of giving her a job. But later AHTU said that after investigation it was found that the complainant girl was allegedly a member of multi state Sextortion racket. AHTU had filed the supplementary chargesheet before Special POCSO Court placing the newly revealed data before the court. Now the Special POCSO Court has order framing of rape charges against Tanna. The order will be challenged in the High Court said Tanna’s consel.
