Aug 23- Court today heard the application of police for the cancellation of bail of Amit Palekar who is accused of misleading the investigation in Banastari accident case. According to police, though Palekar had sought permission to visit France, he visited few more countries thereby violating the terms of the bail. Palekar’s Advocate told the court that the case is politically motivated. The bail condition was to take permission to move out of India and not country specific and therefore there is no violation of bail condition, he said. The next hearing in the matter is scheduled on Monday.
