Digital Goa, December 11, 2025 – The Ponda Municipal Council has issued a public notice urging all stray dog feeders within its jurisdiction to approach the council by 17 December 2025 to help identify designated feeding areas for community dogs.The directive follows recent action by the Supreme Court of India. The council has called on individuals who regularly feed stray dogs to come forward so that suitable locations can be identified and notified. Officials said this step is essential for implementing further measures mandated by the court and the ABC Rules, including sterilisation, vaccination, and organised feeding practices.
