Ponda Municipal Council has approved proposal of Infotech Corporation of Goa to install AI cameras at strategic locations in Ponda city on pilot basis. Informing media about the decisions, Ponda Chairperson Ritesh Naik said that the council will decide to install AI cameras at various locations in Ponda after reviewing the performance of pilot project. “The AI cameras will help to control traffic violations especially on junctions and also help detect crimes in the city”, he added.
