While IMD has issued orange alert for next couple of days, Ponda received maximum of 220.8 mm rain yesterday on the day IMD issued red alert. Dharbandora received 169.3 mm and Sanguem received 143.4 mm rain in 24 hours ending 8.30 am this morning. Canacona and Quepem received 140.2 mm and 100 mm respectively. Other stations received following rain: Mapusa – 98 mm, Pernem – 90.8, Panaji 90.5 mm, Old Goa – 85.5 mm, Dabolim – 84.8 mm, Margao – 80.1 mm, Mormugao – 56.8 mm and Sankhalim- 36.8 mm.
