Digital Goa, Jan 18 – Poshan Tracker under ICDS has identified 701 malnourished children across Goa, enabling targeted and closely monitored interventions. Children aged 6 months to 3 years received fortified premixes and rice, while those aged 3 to 6 years were provided customised hot cooked meals through Anganwadis. Real-time tracking of SAM and MAM children, regular home and Anganwadi visits, medical referrals, and initiatives such as Poshan Maah, Nutri Gardens and daily physical activity have strengthened outcomes, informed authorities.
