Digital Goa, July 13 – Goa govt today issued notification exempting Low Tension Low Income Group(LIG) power consumers in Goa from paying duty on energy consumed. Duty levied for other types of power consumers in the state is more or less unchanged and varies from 20 paise per unit to 70 paise per unit. Low tension domestic consumers will have to pay duty of 20 paise per unit. Electric Vehicle Charging Station, HTC – Commercial, Single Point Supply (SPS) Industry consumers, HTC – Commercial, etc will have to pay Rs 70 paise per unit.
