Digital Goa, Oct 23, 2025 – Veteran Goan actor Prashanti Talpankar has been honoured with the Best Actor award in the International category at the 14th International Film Festival of South Asia (IFFSA) held in Toronto, North America.
Talpankar received the recognition for her powerful performance in the 30-minute Konkani short film Ancessao, directed by Manguirish Bandodkar. Her portrayal in Ancessao has been widely appreciated for its depth and emotional resonance, marking yet another milestone for Goan cinema on the international stage.
