Digital Goa, Jan 22 – Prime accused Shivaji Walke (48), a chartered accountant and director of Bio Estate Solutions Pvt. Ltd., has been arrested by the Economic Offences Cell (EOC) Police Station in connection with an alleged multi-crore cheating case. The arrest is in connection with EOC in alleged cheating of Goan residents of crores of rupees. Walke, a resident of Borivali (East), Mumbai, was traced using technical and human intelligence, informed police. EOC team apprehended him in Mumbai, brought him to Goa, and formally arrested him in the case. He has been remanded to 14 days of police custody. Earlier, four agents of the firm were arrested and are presently in judicial custody.
