Nov 18- Goa govt has prohibited assembly and gathering of five or more persons and taking out or organizing of processions within the radius of 500 metres around the place of function of 55th International Film Festival of India(IFFI) in area under the jurisdiction of Panaji Police Station and Agacaim Police Station under Section 163 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 . The order shall come into force from Nov 19 and shall remain in force till Nov 28. Carrying of firearms or weapons of offences such as lathis, swords, daggers or spears, use of loudspeakers, shouting of slogans, burning of fire crackers near the petrol pumps and at the venues of meetings, etc has also been prohibited.
