Digital Goa, June 1 – A major power outage was witnessed at the District Hospital in Mapusa on Monday evening caused significant disruption to hospital services. The blackout, which reportedly lasted for several hours, left several sections of the hospital in darkness and affected the functioning of essential medical equipment. The cause of the power failure and the status of backup power systems were not immediately known. Further details are awaited.
