Digital Goa, Aug 23 – Pointing out that low participation of women in workforce is not a proper situation for a liberal society like Goa, President of India, Droupadi Murmu asked govt and people of the state to put in efforts towards changing the situation. She noted that the proportion of working women in Goa is relatively low. She was addressing the members of Goa Legislative Assembly at Porvorim, today. President Murmu reminded the legislators during her address said that parliament and state legislatures are sacred institutions that represent the sovereignty of the people.
