Digital Goa, July 17 – Principal Chief Engineer(PCE) of PWD has conducted inspection of the collapsed Kala Academy part, informed CM Pramod Sawant. He said he will share further details only after he gets detailed report of the inspection.

Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao demanded judicial inquiry into the KA roof collapse incident. Referring to the govt as Event management government, the Congress leader blamed ‘’Mission total commission” for the sub standard work which he alleged had led to the collapse.
▪️ Vijai demands resignation of minister over KA roof collapse
Goa Forward leader Vijai Sardesai came down heavily on the govt over the KA roof collapse incident. “I’ve been attacked mercilessly by BJP for exposing the massive irregularities in the renovation of our prestigious Kala Academy. Today, I stand vindicated. The grand corruption Goa’s Shahjahans are perpetrating will eventually lead to the destruction of Goa. What excuse does the Govt of Goa have now? Will the minister who was defending this disaster quit and hand over charge to someone clean and competent before the whole building collapses? ,” he said. Minister Gaude had justified allocation of the work of KA without tender by stating that Taj Mahal was not built by Shah Jahan by floating a tender.
