Dec 13 – A tense situation unfolded at Margao Railway Station when a ragpicker, Amzad Khan, climbed onto the roof of Platforms 2 and 3, perilously close to high-tension electric cables. Konkan Railway Police acted swiftly, with plainclothes officers scaling the roof and fire services deploying rescue nets. After a coordinated effort involving railway staff and bystanders, Khan was safely brought down and referred to the Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behaviour (IPHB) for medical attention.
