Aug 30 – Plans are afoot to make the 400-year-old Rajbhavan building available for public visits all round the year. Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai said that he has shifted to a villa in the campus and proposal to throw the building open for visitors is under consideration. Technical issues related to security etc are being looked into, he added. Governor also said that he will soon undertake a walking tour of 7-8 hilly tribal areas of Goa. He also assured of helping the residents of such areas with basic infrastructure like roads and also assured help in settling legal obstacles for such projects.
