Digital Goa, Nov 2 – Rajendra Singh Bhamboo Infra Private Limited has bagged the tender for a six-lane elevated corridor (EC) flyover at Porvorim for Rs 364 crore. The project tendered in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode is expected to be executed in 24 months time followed by a maintenance period of 10 years. The 5.5 Km length flyover is expected to ease the perennial traffic jam at Porvorim. In all 16 bids were received of which Rajendra Singh Bhamboo Infra Private Limited was L1 at Rs 364 crore, informed PWD Minister Nilesh Cabral. Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) will finalise further procedures, work order will be issued soon, he added. MoRTH has floated a tender for a six-lane elevated corridor (EC) from 508.000 km to 513.150 km including approach roads on NH-66 in June this year.
Dilip Buildcon to build revolving tower over Zuari bridge in PPP mode
The tender for constructing revolving tower on Zuari bridgein PPP mode has been won by Dilip Buildcon, Cabral further informed. He said that the file has been sent for approval by MoRTH. Prior to this govt had tendered the project will lukewarm response from companies. This time 4 companies had bided for the project.
