Digital Goa, Oct 7 – Zenito Cardozo, one of the accused in the Rama Kankonkar assault case, has filed a bail application before the Principal District Court, North Goa. The court is likely to hear the matter on October 8. History sheeter Cardozo was one of the eight persons arrested in connection with the attack on social activist Rama Kankonkar. The brutal broad daylight attack had triggered widespread condemnation and protests demanding swift justice.
