Digital Goa, Sept 16 – Goa Foundation Director Dr Claude Alvares has said that all the 30 land conversions done by TCP under 17 (2) in the last few months doesn’t have any approval from the TCP officials. Speaking at a function in Panaji today, he said that these controversial land conversion files have signatures of only the TCP Minister Vishwajeet Rane. “Minister passed a draconian order that no files should be given to any parties asking for 17 (2) files. He knew that we would go to court. So just yesterday they released 30 files. Interesting thing in all 30 files is that neither the Town and Country Planning dept nor the Secretary to Town and Planning have given their opinion “yes” in any of those conversions of plots under 17 (2). All the permissions and all actual signatures are only of Mr Rane”, he said.
